When picking up your hire, please have the full amount agreed upon as well the bond with you in cash. Along with this you will need 3 forms of ID (eg. Drivers License, Medicare Card, Bank Card, Passport, etc). Please arrive at the agreed upon time – late or early pick ups and drop offs will incur extra fees.

Pick Up and Drop Off Times for Keilor Park are as follows:
Weekdays: 10am – 4pm
Saturdays: 9am – 10.30am
Sundays: Closed

Box Hill Pick Up and Drop Off times are:
Mondays: 5.30pm – 7pm
Fridays: 12pm sharp
Saturdays: 11.30am – 1pm

All our DJs are equipped with only the best DJ console units, with powerful 15” speakers and their own table and speaker stands. They also come with 4 different types of DJ lighting.

Years of experience differ from DJ to DJ, however they are all trained to a strict standard within our facility, and all have experience working a large variety of functions and events.

Yes, for a small additional fee this can be arranged. Please see our full list of equipment available here.

That is left up to your discretion – you can either allow the DJ to play as per usual or you can put together a custom playlist using our Music List here.

You certainly can. Please ensure that the device you bring it on has a 3.5mm headphone jack though. We do not take CDs or USBs.

You can request songs on the night, however we do recommend seeing our Music List before the event to ensure the songs you want are available.

As Halogen DJ Company is an agency, we cannot hand out our DJs’ personal details. However, you can discuss whatever you need with our friendly office staff, and all information will be passed on to the DJ prior to the night.

We select DJs based on their personal skill-sets as well as geographical distance from the event. We will always make sure you get the best DJ for your specific needs.

The DJ dresses to suit the dress code of your function and/or venue, generally in all black.

Generally, our DJs arrive 30-45 minutes prior to an event to ensure everything is ready for commencement. The actual set up and pack down shouldn’t take any longer than 20 minutes though.

Our DJ consoles are suitable to be used anywhere provided there is a source of power. Should there be any extraneous weather conditions (rain, etc), we also ask that you provide coverage for the DJ and their equipment.
